Spiral Restaurant, located in the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, offers one of the country's most well-known buffet spreads. The restaurant offers an interactive gourmet dining experience with 21 ateliers that allow you to sample cuisine from 21 different countries in one location.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets are available. If you enjoy free-flowing champagne and wine, it's worth the extra few hundred pesos. It's worth noting that prices tend to rise around major holidays like Christmas and New Year's.
Spiral Restaurant: What to Eat
Spiral Restaurant serves an incredible variety of food in an elegant setting. A list of all the ateliers and what they offer, from the French station to the Japanese hot and cold stations, is located at the front of the dining area. As soon as you sit down, a basket of fresh olive bread is brought to you, and it goes so well with butter. Don't overeat, because you'll need room for the sumptuous steak, oysters, crabs, ramen, sushi, noodles, caviar, pasta, roasted chicken, wood-fired pizza, dim sum, and much more.
The cheese room is a clear standout for us, and it alone is worth the price of the buffet. Their Filipino station is also worth a visit. Where else in a fine-dining setting can you try balut (fertilized egg) and crocodile adobo? The open kitchen concept at Spiral Restaurant allows you to interact with the chefs and watch as your food is prepared and cooked right in front of you - an intriguing experience in and of itself.
